the things you open letterboxd for are here. mark a film watched, give it stars, write a review, and keep a want to watch list. the date you watched it stays with it, and collections hold the lists you make yourself.

bringing your letterboxd over
- by username: on the web, open settings → import → letterboxd and type your username. your last 100 diary films come in with their ratings and dates.
- by file, for everything: on letterboxd, go to settings → data → export data, then upload the .zip in the same place. it brings watched films, ratings, diary dates, reviews and your watchlist.
nothing is written until you confirm, and anything already on your shelf is skipped, never doubled or overwritten.
when letterboxd is the better fit
