when you connect a service or import from it, the web fetches your library for you. these are the ones it calls:

apple music, through musickit, when you connect it. it needs your own subscription.
letterboxd, from your public rss feed.
last.fm, from your public profile.
anilist, from your public anime list.
myanimelist, from your public anime list.

goodreads, storygraph, imdb, and the apple music library file are read from a file you export yourself. nothing is fetched from them.
