1. Who Can Use Sharespot
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sharespot. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account immediately.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your password secure and do not share your account with others.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. Do not impersonate another person or create a misleading account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. What You Can Share
Sharespot is a platform for personal sharing with people you know. You may share photos, text, videos, and other content (“User Content”) subject to the following rules.
You agree NOT to post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
- Sexually exploits or harms minors in any way
- Contains nudity, graphic violence, or explicit sexual content without using the sensitive content toggle
- Violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
- Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any group
- Contains spam, malware, or any malicious code
- Impersonates any person or entity
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
4. Your Content
You own the content you post on Sharespot. By posting content, you grant Sharespot a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the app.
We do not sell your content to third parties.
You can delete your content and your account at any time through the app settings.
5. Content Moderation
Sharespot uses automated systems and human review to moderate content. We use image recognition technology to detect and remove content that violates our policies, including explicit and harmful material.
You can report content or users that you believe violate these terms using the report feature in the app. We review all reports and take appropriate action.
6. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Sharespot, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Sharespot does not sell your personal data to third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
The Sharespot name, logo, app design, and all associated intellectual property belong to Sharespot and its operators. You may not use our branding or intellectual property without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
Sharespot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free of errors. We are not responsible for the content posted by other users.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharespot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Sharespot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
