The Boy and the Heron

This is probably one of the most slept on studio ghibli movies, like, ever. The story, the characters, cinematography, animation, everything is so detailed and well paced. The theme of the entire movie means a lot to me, especially the bond between Mahito and his mother. The heron's design was also impeccable. A character I want to hate but grew to love, for sure. Easily one of my top comfort movies.
