Call Me by Your Name

one of my favorite books ever. a little freaky at times, yes, but that is because Elio is a *teenager* who believes he's in love. this is not a romance. to me, this is a book about someone who thinks they're living in a romance, and, in reality, is actively being groomed. is it still a beautiful book, even if the intention of the author was to write out an illegal fetish? yes. i still love this book, but with how insane it is, i don't think i'll ever read it again. maybe one day, a long time from now, but i dont forsee myself picking up this book again for a while.
