i think i almost liked this better than The Outsiders. just like That Was Then, This Is Now, i went into this without knowing a thing. because i didn't know a thing, there wasn't any spoilers and i didn't expect what happened. i hardly knew where it was headed. my favorite part about this is how everyone around rusty-james constantly told him that he would NEVER be like motorcycle boy, but in the end, he was almost exactly like him. i always like things like that. this was really good, honestly. i almost like how little rusty-james changed throughout the book. despite everyone around him trying to educate him on himself, he barely changed. and what little he did change, in my opinion, it was for the worst. to me, the climax felt a little rushed, almost like it wasn't fully mapped out, but that wouldn't surprise me. it worked for the story, i think. either way, i did really like this, and i do plan to watch the movie later.
nothing here yet. say something.
