languages

kannada can read, understand a little, and speak a little. 1) the closest language to telugu by script familiarity. it is a cute and fun language to learn. 2) i pick up words from the internet, and also when my work manager who is from mysore speaks during calls. 3) i know numbers 1 to 100. :)

malayalam can understand a little, can speak a little. my neighbors (2 families), are from palakkad in kerala. i love how this language is difficult yet interesting to learn.

tamil can understand a little, and speak a little. 1) the only language i aspire to be fluent in. 2) i feel like i have some past life connection to this language. 3) i pick up words, phrases, end sentences from reels, movies, friends, and my colleagues.

hindi can read, write, and speak. learnt from chota bheem first, then followed formal learning at school up to 8th grade.

english can read, write, and speak. i studied in an english-medium school, hence the exposure.

telugu can read, write, and speak. this is my mother tongue and am proud of it.
